Railing

We carry several different railing infill options to give you plenty of choices to match you home and decor.  If you are looking for powder coated galvanized steel for strength and beauty we offer Fortress Railing Products.  If you are looking for a horizontal non obstructive view we carry Cable Rail by Feeney.  All of these infills offer Straight and Stair Rail sections with several different mounting options.

All decks higher than 30" above grade must have railing. If you choose to install railing on a deck lower than 30", you must still meet code requirements.  The International Residential Code (IRC) requires guardrails to be at least 36" in height, measured from the deck surface to the top of the rail. Commercial decks attached to multi-family buildings, such as apartment buildings or businesses, are regulated under the International Building Code (IBC). The IBC requires 42" high railing.  A variety of styles are allowed as long as the interior sections of the rail don’t possess any openings large enough to pass a 4” diameter sphere through.
