Construction Heart Redwood is a heartwood grade containing knots of varying sizes and other slight imperfections.  This highly useful grade has one surfaced side and one rough sawn side.

Uses: Expansion joint, decks, posts, retaining walls, fences, garden structures, stairs, or other outdoor uses especially on or near soil.

We stock 1x4, 1x6, 2x4 and 2x6 in some lengths.  Check with us for availability of other sizes.  The 1X material is S1S2E (smooth on 1 side and 2 edges) and the 2X material is S4S (smooth).  Also, you are always welcome to inquire on the availability of other grades.
